Let me say I think the #1 attribute of this store are the owners. They are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, sincere and passionate about health and wellness. I went in a few weeks ago complaining of yo-yo dieting and what hasn't worked in the past. The owner asked me lots of questions, made a recommendation of a supplement that might work for me and after a week, I've lost 9 lbs. It is the one on one attention I get that keeps me coming back. They are there as a resource for what direction to take in my food and supplement choices. For this, I am willing to pay more. I do agree, the pricing is considerably higher than Whole Foods and Trader Joes. I don't do my week's worth of shopping there. Great Place!

It's really nice to have an organic store in the Severna Park area. They have some specialty items that I can't find anywhere else. The staff is wonderful, and the store is family owned & not a chain.

I'm on the fence about this place. Let's work through the pros and cons and see where we end up: PROS-- -friendly and helpful staff / owner Isaac and his wife are usually on hand to help you locate a product or order it for you if need be -fresh and delicious dips, soups, sandwiches and salads from in-house cook Bobbie / Bobbie is on hand Monday through Thursday and makes delicious and healthy offerings with many veg choices too -lots of organic and international products -good selection of vitamins and supplements if that's your kind of thing CONS-- -PRICE / wow! Once you know what things cost, it's really difficult to pay more-even in a pinch! One example: Trader Joe's sells Ezekiel breads for $3.99/loaf, at Whole Paycheck it's $4.99/loaf, and here it's $6.50/loaf. As Hall & Oates sang, "I Can't Go for That." -produce / there are lots of organics here, but the selection is not great, and it can be hit or miss with the quality depending on which day you shop -as Ekaterina mentioned in her review, it seems as though some of the items on the shelves have been there awhile / I have noticed expired products from time to time In all, I'll stop in if I'm having a jones for one of Bobbie's creations or if I need an ingredient or two for a recipe. This is definitely not my go-to grocery for my weekly shopping run.

I came here looking for raw coconut and I found it on sale. Very friendly and helpful employees. This is a nice little organic store. I will be back.

Great little mom and pop shop. Fabulous prices on grass fed beef. Helpful staff. Salmon is sooooo yummy, gotta try it.

I have only had good experiences at the Good Life Organic Market. Isaac and his wife, Annie, (the owners) are extremely cordial and take pride in their store. They take the time to explain which supplements would benefit your needs, and will listen to your concerns with compassion and sincere interest. Regarding Ekaterina's poor rating: Oversights, such as occasional expired products, will happen even at the big chain markets. It has happened to me a few times from various grocery stores and small markets. Did you call the store to the address the matter? I can assure you that they would have refunded your money.

I went here to buy a certain spice in bulk. The scale they use is not for small quanities, and the cashier refused to assist me. She told me to eyeball about how much I need. Well, I'm sorry, when I'm paying a premium price for a spice, I want to know how much I'm getting BEFORE I have to pay for it. I was so offput by the lack of assistance that I left everything else I planned to buy and took my business elsewhere. Certainly not a good impression. I don't intend to recommend or return to this place.
